Hello, I’m Amanda Wright, a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Meditation Teacher (BSoM) and food Product Developer. I live in Knutsford in Cheshire. I’m a wife and mum, nature, yoga, swimming and travel enthusiast with a real passion for food and cooking.
There have been a few times in my life when I have not got the balance right and have burnt myself out through putting too much on my plate, and more recently being a first-time mum has taken real adjustments to get the balance right.
I am now passionate about supporting others to find their perfect balance, which has driven me to qualify as a Health Coach and Meditation Teacher and starting my Healthful Happy Me business.
I’m a big advocate for preventative health care and empowering people to take control of their own health. Health coaching can help bridge the gap in the current health care system by providing strategies for lasting lifestyle changes that can, where possible, heal bodies naturally without medication.
I believe eating a healthy diet can be a big contributor to your overall wellbeing. Healthy eating has become so confusing; I can show you how to eat a balanced diet and maintain a healthy weight without dieting. Being healthy also means getting balance in other elements of your life; exercise, relationships and career. I look holistically at what will drive optimal health in your life.
I have spent my career working in the food industry as a Product Developer and more recently headed up a food trends agency in Australia. I have a lot food knowledge and have a passion for real, healthy food. I am especially passionate about reviving home cooking and would love to support those looking for some kitchen confidence. I can show you how to prepare easy, quick healthy meals and inspire you along the way. I have a particular interest in adjusting recipes for specific dietary needs; across my household there is gluten, dairy and egg intolerance and sensitivities to garlic and onion.
I am also a qualified Meditation Teacher; it has helped me with recovery from burnout before and helps keep me calm and grounded when balancing life as a mum. If you feel this would be useful, or you would like to try some techniques, this can be incorporated into your programme.
